To my mother, it has been a life of up and downs but you have always been there in my time of need just as the bible say Jerusalem is the mother of us all. You have been an inspiration to me in how to have a heart without limits, and sometimes those limits can be trying. As we go thru the fire in life once in it all thats left is to come out. God as I sit here and write this my heart aches and calls out Mommy! Mommy! I will always love you and miss you you are in the hands of a just God now. I Love You Mom

Kristie - There we were - a couple of military brats starting out our high school years and now almost 50 years later, your journey has ended and left us all to carry on without you. You have always been with me and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. You so loved your family and would tell me often how lucky you were to have so much love around you. I will miss you terribly and send much love and comfort to your family.

As a young Marine new to Yuma, I wandered into Franklin's Tire Shop for a part-time job. I was greeted by Kristie with her infectious smile and "spunky" personality. I worked with Kristie and got to know her family as well when they took me under the wing and showed me the "real" desert and Southwest Arizona. I appreciate so much the relatively short time I shared with Kristie and her family. They made me feel like part of the family and right at home although I was far from Texas. I especially enjoyed the spirited debates between her and Dennis. She was a great person with a big heart, and I will miss her. Thank you Franklin family for letting me be a part of your lives.
