Kathryn Rogers Obituary

Kathryn Sarah Rogers, 82 slipped peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, March 29, 2011 at home, with her son and daughter by her side.
Kathryn was a proud homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was married to the love of her life, Kenneth R. Rogers for 58 years whom she met while building B-36 bombers at Convair in San Diego after WWII.
Kathryn was born in Reading, PA a daughter to the late Harvey and Bertha Schaffer. She was also preceded in death by her 6 brother's and sister's.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, David and his wife Melinda Rogers of Yuma, AZ, Rebecca and her husband Tim Lehner of Reading, PA, Sandra and her husband Allen Choate of Yuma, AZ. Her grandchildren Timmy, Tommy, Danny, Pete and Katie and her great grandchildren Hailey, Amanda, Wyatt, Danny and Libby Sue.
A memorial service will be held at Foothills Assembly of God church, April 30 at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Yuma.
