I met Michelle in our office I work at State Farm Insurance. She was our customer. I spoke to her a few weeks ago when she came in our office to make her auto insurance payment and asked her about her class she smiled and said she loved working and her kids in her class. I did not know her except for when she came into our office but one thing she was very passionate about her kids and she loved teaching. I know she will be missed and she was one in a million GREAT EDUCATOR, It was an honor to have met her and may God bless her family and friends.

Michelle (Shelly, as I knew her!) was truly a unique and special woman. She really was one of my favorite High School friends and I will never forget her. I regret not keeping in contact with her and wish that I had reconnected with her. Her laughter was infectious and smile was contagious. I am truly saddened by this loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

I first saw Michelle when she was sponsoring the Honors Club at Somerton Middle School and I was so impressed with her professionalism and her dedication to doing a great job with her students. I relied on her for 8th grade data related to ELL students and I could always count on her to get the job done right! Her dynamic, smart, and fun personality will be greatly missed.

I remember being friends with her in high school, she was the sweetest person and so kind. I always loved her possitive attitude and her beautiful spirit. She will be remembered as the sweet beautiful person that I always remember her being. My heart goes out to her husband and beautiful daughters. I hope that everyone she touched in spirit, will pass on her possitive energy and pay it forward. May God bless everyone in mourning.
