I was very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I met Nancy on my first job as an RN at our hospital and she became my mentor. We had many stressful and fun times together on "grave yard" shift and she was an excellent role model and supervisor and always demonstrated her pride in her profession and demanded professionalism from "her staff". I learned from the very best and will forever be grateful to Nancy for taking me under her wing. She would push me until I learned "the right way--her way" then when she thought I was ready to take charge called in sick for 3wks! That was my ultimate test in her eyes and I am privileged to have known such an excellent, caring, nurse. My best to all her family and my love to Nancy, may she rest in peace.

This is a photo of Aunt Nancy with my sister, Barbara Grace, circa 1943. I believe that my late mother, Elizabeth Fischer Grace took this photo at her Orange St., Manchester residence where Nancy lived, too, when she was in nurse's training.

Many condolences to the immediate family who will be affected by the death of my Aunt Nancy, a beloved member of the "Fischer clan." Her dedication as a nurse and a mother set her apart. She will be sorely missed.
