Sam Reel Sr., 68, resident of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on April 2, 2013 in Texarkana, Texas. He was born August 13, 1944 in Yuma, AZ.

Sam attended Yuma Union High School, class of 1962. He was an ordained high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hope, Ark., and a retired civil engineer and heavy construction worker. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and truly loved visiting with family. He was a past member of the Arizona National Guard, Yuma.
Survivors include his wife, Roxie Ann Reel; one son, Sam Reel Jr.; one daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Johnson; three brothers, Raymond (Gloria) Reel, and Charles Reel Jr. and Rusty (Judy) Reel; two sisters, Vera Oros and Frances (Mike) Czeto; brother-in-law Mike Merrick; five grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Lauren, Trevor and Brendan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Helen Reel; brother, Jackie Reel; and sisters, Effie Kristol, Patty Martinez, and Fay Matus.
Memorial services will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11AM.
