I worked across the hall from Sharon at the State Capitol and we became fast friends. She was that way, warm and friendly. I haven't seen her since she left Sacramento but we always kept in touch. She was my rock, always there when I needed a shoulder yet she never ever complained about what she was going through. Whenever I felt sorry for myself due to aches and pains, I thought about her and it put things in perspective for me. She cared more about how I was doing than about her own problems. I'm glad she's in heaven now and is no longer suffering. Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you.

Sharon and I worked at Aerojet for several years. When Aerojet lost their government contract, when went our separate ways, We met again in downtown Sacramento and rekindled our friendship. We both retired in 2000 and I helped her move toYuma to take care of her Mother. I got a phone last night from her friend Connie. Much appreciated.
Sharon was the kind of friend that always stayed in touch and patient when I was late in calling her. I will miss Sharon.

Sharon and my husband went through chemo together and the three of us looked forward to chatting while going through this life changing experience. We had lunch about six weeks ago and I thought she wasn't doing well but her spirits were high. I had been trying to get in touch with her for the last 10 days and now I know why I couldn't. I will miss her....
