Stephen Popiel Obituary
He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. He loved life and enjoyed sitting quietly outside in thought. Stephen's hobbies included classic cars, antique guns, and listening to rock-n-roll music.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Maria Elvia Popiel; four children; and nine grandchildren, all of Yuma. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Popiel and mother, Ella Mae Popiel. Visitation took place at Johnson Mortuary on February 13, 2008. Services were at St. Francis of Assisi on Thursday, February 14; burial followed at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
