Teresa Alvarado Obituary

Teresa L. Alvarado at age 89 passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. She was born January 15, 1922 in Ures, Sonora.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Danira (Manuel) Mendez, Alicia Alvarado, Esperanza (Gilberto) Demara, Olga Gonzalez, Ma Luisa (Ralph) Contreras, Lourdes (Marcos) Sanchez and Marisela (Miguel) Carbajal; sons, Eddie (Elizabeth) Araza, Isabelo "Bob" (Susie) Araza, Francisco Salcedo, Miguel Leon, Jesus (Maricela) Salcedo; 38 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday March 17, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Teresa will be laid to rest at Desert Lawn Memorial Park with Father Oscar Magallanes officiating.
Pallbearers will be Alejandro Gonzalez, Gilberto Demara, Javier Mendes, Edward Araza, Marvin Carbajal and Francisco Demara.

Hola Nana, I know you must be looking down us now and I pray you are holding hands with our little girl Ariana. I regret not spending more time with you, but I'm glad we got to say our I love you's to each other before you left. May you rest in peace Nana.
