Adam Alexander "Al" Christie Obituary
Adam "Al" Alexander Christie, of Yuma, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was born July 30, 1921 in Lewistown, Montana. Al was raised by his grandfather and grandmother. He joined the U.S. Army Air Force in 1942, was an Aerial Engineer, and retired the force in 1946. Al moved to Yuma 62 years ago, worked for Bureau of Land Management as an Engineer, and retired in 1983. Al enjoyed dabbling with the stock market. He also loved fishing, traveling, and dancing.

Al is survived by his wife, Mary Christie; 3 sisters, 1 brother, and family; 2 step-daughters, Opal Gardner, Jeannie Deason, and family; 2 step-sons, Steven Short, David Short, and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma.
