Derral Sanks, 71, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was born December 6, 1940 in Yuma.

Derral was a retired Wirechief for Southern Pacific Railroad. He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a local 4H leader for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, boating, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.
Derral is survived by his wife, Janie Sanks; sons, Derral Sanks Jr., and Jeffrey Sanks; sister, Dudlea Burkett, as well as 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Sanks; parents, Harold and Clarice Sanks; sister, Rose Cambell; brother, Harold Michael Sanks.
Visitation will be at Johnson Mortuary on Monday, November 26, 2012, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Memorial donations can be to Hospice of Yuma.
