Frank E. Wilcox Jr. Obituary
Frank passed away April 19th, 2013 after a long battle with COPD. He was born June 10th, 1933 in West Union, W VA to Frank and Esta Wilcox. Frank grew up in Clay City, Ill. After graduating from high school, he joined the US Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. While stationed at Fort Lewis he met and married Joyce Rouleau and together they had five children.
Frank was a plumber with the Seattle Plumber's Union Local 32 for over 50 years. After retirement he and Joyce moved from Brier, WA to Grayland, WA where they lived near the ocean. After Joyce's death in 1997 Frank moved to Yuma, AZ. Until he became too ill to travel, Frank liked to drive around the country visiting family and friends most summers. He and his significant other, Lee Kavanaugh liked to entertain friends in Yuma with pot luck dinners, dancing and karaoke. Frank is survived by his children Dale, RayAnn (Arp), Rene, Shannon and Leeann Wilcox, Daughter In-Law Karen Wilcox, Son in Law Keith Arp; Grandchildren Katie, Kyle, Brittney & Kevin Wilcox, and Jessica & Rachel Arp. He is also survived by his significant other Lee Kavanaugh his brother Rex Wilcox, sister Imogene (Wilcox) Gordon, and sister Reah (Wilcox) and Howard Hoover. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce and his brother Keith Wilcox. At Frank's request there will be no services.
