Nola Louise Robinson-Wood joined her father, Don Robinson and sister, Leesa Robinson in eternal life this April 30th, 2013. She was born June 23, 1952, in Jacksonville, NC. Her passing was sudden and unexpected. The loss is deeply felt by everyone Nola's life has touched. Nola was a beautiful soul, accepting of everyone. She was a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, great grand-mother and a friend. Her generosity extended beyond family to people she had only just met. She had a Christ like ability to embrace everyone. Nola saw the good in everyone and was always willing to serve anyone in need. Although she didn't get to say goodbye- and we didn't either our minds ponder backwards remembering our shared moments of joy, laughter, loss, glory and love. Knowing Nola as we did, we know she would want us to remember her smiles, her chatter, her words, her Christmas cookies, her goulash never without onions, the catch-ups and the busy lives we lived together. Nola's life echoes around us. Nola is survived by her mother, Mae Robinson. Her heart is broken by the loss of another child. She is also survived by her loving husband Rickey Wood, her first born Glen Ford, her daughter Stephanie Reid and her youngest son Dwaine Reid and her step daughters Jodie Clever, Jennifer Wood, Heather Wood. Her sisters Annette Kucia and Laura Gotchie; brothers, Don Robinson and Tori Robinson. Nola was blessed with 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private family viewing Thursday 5pm followed by a Memorial Service on Friday at 6pm at Sunset Vista Mortuary 11357 E. 40 St. Yuma Foothills, AZ.
