1948 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Thomas E. "Tommy" Aguilar left his family here on earth to join his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 13, 2013. Tommy was born on June 3, 1948 to John and Virginia Aguilar. He was raised in Yuma and attended Yuma High School. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army & served as a Sergeant from 1968 to 1970. The majority of his working career was spent at The Imperial Irrigation Dist. in Bard, CA.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Regina (Gus), son, Kevin (Melissa); step daughter, Mindy McDermott, step son, Bruce McDermott (Kathy); sisters, Margie Pierson and Sharon Williams and brother, Frank (Georgia); grandchildren, Ariana, Dezmond, Dymond, Dillon and Alex along with multiple cousins, nieces and nephews, and his Pug, Kelley. Tommy enjoyed spending time with friends and family: watching boxing, NFL, hunting, and playing cards on Sunday afternoons at the Munoz home. Tommy was a big U of A Wildcats fan. Tommy enjoyed photography. He loved taking pictures of his own children as well as his nieces and nephews at multiple sporting events.

All services will be held at Funeraria del Angel (corner of 28th St and 8th Avenue) The viewing will be held on Thursday, June20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A gathering will immediately follow at American Legion Post #56 on 3rd Street.
