CONGO: Clyde R Wilson 75 of Congo passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 at his home.

He was born May 29, 1938 in Pike Twp. Perry County, the son of the late Michael H. Wilson and Thelma B. Scott Wilson. Clyde retired from Peabody Coal Co., was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, he was a horseman and enjoyed tinkering around.

Survived by his sons Tony (Beth) Wilson New Lexington, Larry (Robin) Wilson Congo, Greg (Lisa) Wilson Corning, Darrlyd Wilson Corning; daughters Terry (John) Andis Virginia, Marilyn Hollingshead New Lexington, and Lori (Dan) Brown Lancaster; 23 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; girlfriend Betty Dobbins; sisters Marie Winship Florida, Margie Deavers New Lexington, Beatrice Kaughman Thornville, and Kathy (Bruce) Gall, brothers Jim (Ann) Wilson, Porterville Michael (Betty) Wilson New Lexington and George Reed New Lexington,

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Marilyn Wilson and Carolyn Wilson; brothers-in- law, Dale Deavers and Richard Kaughman.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 14,2013 at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut St SHAWNEE, with the Rev. Richard Newlon officiating. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery Millertown. Friends may call from 5-8p.m. Friday and from 11:00a.m until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
