Dorothy Faye Long

CROOKSVILLE: Dorothy Faye Long, 87, of Crooksville, passed away at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the New Lexington Care and Rehab Center.

She was born April 10, 1925, in Morgan County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Meredith Darlington and Mabel Offard Dugan. She graduated from M&M High School. She was the co-owner of Long's Jewelers in Crooksville and McConnelsville. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and VFW.

Surviving are her husband, Landon Long of the home; two sons, John William Long of Heath and Larry Clark Long of Fairmont, WV; a daughter, Cheryl Ann (David) Rambo of Crooksville; eight grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank Dugan of McConnelsville and Wayne Dugan of Ventura, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Robert Dugan; and a great- grandchild.

No calling hours or services will be observed. A private family service will be held at Iliff Cemetery at a later date.
