Edna Pauline (Hardy) Curry

ZANESVILLE: Edna Pauline (Hardy) Curry, 95, of Zanesville, passed away September 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by family after a short illness.

She was born May 10, 1918 in Adamsville, OH daughter of the late Grover and Stella Tom Hardy.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church for many years. Edna worked at Good Samaritan hospital for thirteen years in housekeeping. She enjoyed working outside in the yard.

She is survived by her daughters Frances Nessline, Betty Zeek, Mary Paisley all of Zanesville, Virginia (Donald) Johnson of Chandlersville; sons David (Rosa) Curry of Zanesville, Dale (Linda) Curry of Kansas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend Jack Lutz, Cecil (Pat) Yonley, Frank (Vickie) Sowers, daughter in-law of her deceased son Diane Curry Jones, too many other friends to name.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David Curry; son John Curry, brothers Edwin Hardy, Clarence Hardy and Clyde Hardy; sister Edith Garner; one great-grandchild, one great-great-grandchild.

Calling hours for family will be held 5-8 Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral. Family has requested a closed casket for services. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
