James Mark Moorehead

ELKHART, IN: James Mark Moorehead, 55, of Elkhart, IN, was born June 12, 1957 and died April 30, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital of unknown respiratory disease.

He was the son of James W. and Faith (Speelman) Moorehead of Zanesville.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Machela; three daughters, Robin Moorehead of Zanesville, Melissa Taylor of Elkhart, Brandie (Jimmy) Berry of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Rick ( Margaret), Terry (Debbie), Kevin (Carol) all of Zanesville; sisters, Joanna (Rick) Lowry of Adamsville, Jeanine (Steve) Stover of Zanesville; grandchildren, Lincoyn and Bella Berry; also surviving are 41 nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews in the Zanesville area.

He was preceded in death by one son, Matt.

Mark was a graduate of Zanesville High School where he was active in the Choral Groups.

He served his country for seven years in the Army, where he sustained life long injuries.

He was a long time member of Calvary Assembly Church in Elkhart, where he was on the staff, and part of the music department. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 29 of Zanesville.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service in his honor will be held at Calvary Assembly Church, 1010 E. Mishawaka Road, Elkhart, IN 46517, officiating will be Pastor Brian Whielden on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
