Roberta M. Tumblin

ADAMSVILLE: Roberta M. (Foraker) Tumblin, 70, of Adamsville, passed away January 1, 2013 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born November 17, 1942 in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Robert and Iona (Lucas) Foraker. She retired from March Electric after 26 years of service. She was an excellent quilter and sewer. She donated many quilts for sick children and others. She attended Prospect Methodist Church of the Adamsville area when she was younger.

She is survived by her husband, Ned, of 34 years. They were married February 25, 1978. Although she never had any of her own children she loved her step children as her own, her three step children, Brent Tumblin of Frazeysburg, Steve (Beth) Tumblin of Coshocton and Melissa (Rick) Mills of Coshocton; one sister, Martha (Gene) Hatfield of Adamsville; three brothers, Bill, Bob and Pat Foraker of Zanesville; five grandsons, Jeremy, Kyle, Seth and Derek Tumblin and Zachary Mills; four granddaughters, Leigh Ann and Lauren Tumblin and Laiken and Lyndsey Mills; three special nieces, Jennifer United, Rhonda Hatfield, Billie Jo Bird; two special nephews, Rick and Brett Foraker; and many special friends in the sewing circle, too many to mention.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny.

She wished to be cremated and a private, family ceremony will take place at a later date.
