Terrence R Linscott Sr.

RADCLIFF, KY: Terrence R Linscott Sr., 66, went from his home in Radcliff to his heavenly home to be with Jesus on April 9, 2014.

He was born August 30, 1947 alongside his twin sister, Sharon in Zanesville, Ohio to Rolland Linscott and Melba Gould Linscott.

Terry began his military career at Ft Knox in 1966 and retired from the Army at Ft Knox in 1989. He had many jobs after his military career including Hardin County Schools - bus driver, Colbar as Ration man at Ft Knox, Lowe's - delivery, Master Tours - bus driver, and most recently was a lead screener for TSA at the Louisville airport which he retired from in June 2012. He was a member of Abundant Life Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Holly Linscott Miller; two brothers, Lewis Linscott Sr. and Ronald Linscott; a sister, Rayma Pemberton.

He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Bonnie Linscott of Radcliff; a son, Terry Linscott Jr. and wife, Shawnta of Radcliff; a daughter, Lisa Wood and husband, Chris of Radcliff; and nine grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Ciji Miller, Elijah Linscott, Isaiah Linscott, Micah Linscott, Grace Linscott, Christopher Wood, Israel Wood, and Matthias Wood all of Radcliff; two sisters and two brothers, Sharon Lumbatis and Kathy Wells and Joe Mercer Sr. and David Mercer Sr. all of Zanesille, Ohio.

The funeral is at 11 AM Monday, April 14, 2014 at Abundant Life Church in Radcliff. Burial with military honors follows at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff. Visitation is Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 PM at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff. A celebration of Terry's life will be Sunday evening at 6:00 at Abundant Life Church.
