Wayne K. Englehart

ZANESVILLE: Wayne K. Englehart, 94, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully, February 9, 2014 at the Emeritus Senior Living in Zanesville, OH.

Mr. Englehart was born September 23, 1919 in Zanesville, son of the late John and Mary Schultheis Englehart. He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, a member of Lodge of Amity No. 5 F.&A.M., a 32 degree member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a life member of the V.F.W Post 1058 and life member of the American Legion. He retired as an electrician from Universal Cyclops Specialty Steel at Coshocton, OH in 1982.

He is survived by a daughter, Eleanor A (Fred) Ingram; son Jeffrey A (Ingrid) Englehart; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth E. Englehart; brother John Englehart; sisters Barbara Trout and Gloria Englehart.

No calling hours will be held a graveside service will take place 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Zanesville Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Muskingum County Animal Shelter.
