Patricia Blaz Obituary
ZANESVILLE: Patricia E. Blaz, 77 of Zanesville, OH died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Forest View Health Campus Zanesville. She was born Wednesday, February 26, 1936 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Ben Greby and Pauline Victoria (Trybus) Greby and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
After raising her children she worked for the Zanesville City Schools in the administration office. Patricia was always a graceful and lovely lady with impeccable style. She loved being a mother to her four children and grandmother to her three grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing, classical music, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Patricia treated everyone with the same unfailing courtesy. She always showed kindness and generosity along with amazing strength and independence.
She is survived by three sons; Stephen (Shari) Blaz of San Jose, CA, Scott Blaz, and Shawn Blaz both of Livermore, CA; one daughter Susan Blaz of Germantown, MD; three grandchildren, Samantha Blaz, Hayden Blaz and Sarah Blaz all of CA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Bob Greby.
At Patricia's request there will be no public services. A private family service will take place at a later date in CA.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 in Pat's memory.

I'm so sorry to here of your loss... pat was a very special women. I miss talking with her every Saturday morning. Always came into the salon with a smile on her face. Pat woul catch me up on all her grandchildren once she came back to ohio. How proud she was of them and how proud of all 4 of her own children!! I am very grateful to have known your mom Steve,susan,shawn and scott.hearing your mom talk about you all for the past 8 years I can diffently tell you all she loved you all and was the happest woman ever.I will miss you greatly Pat and your wonder soups you would bring me for lunch.~ R.I.P with our Lord~ your friend and stylist melissa palmer
