Emeline "Em" Wiine

MAUMEE, FORMERLY OF ZANESVILLE: Emeline "Em" Wine, 87 of Maumee, formerly of 816 Brighton Blvd, Zanesville, died 5:30 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at The Lakes of Monclova Health Campus in Maumee following a lengthy illness.

She was born Monday, June 21, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of Azar J. Nader and Mary (Rossi) Nader. She was married to the late Richard "Dick" Wine who preceded her in death on November 15, 1993 and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Em worked along with her parents and family in the family business: A.J. Nader's & Son Department Store in Downtown Zanesville for many years. She also worked with her husband: Dick, at Wine Sunoco Station on Blue Avenue. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time on the houseboat in the Muskingum River. She and Dick were Charter Members of The Zanesville Yacht Club.

Em is survived by two children: Rebecca M. & Jeffrey L. Schwartz of Maumee and Dr. Michael J. & Jane S. Wine of Victor, ID; five grandchildren: Clinton J. & Noelle Schwartz, Jason L. & Kelli Schwartz, Todd M. & Maggie Wine, Bradley S. & Debbie Wine and Michelle L. & Erik Lyngso; seven great grandchildren: Brady, Blake, Ben, Dean, Noah, Owen & Abigail; two brothers: Joseph A. & Sandy Nader and Mansor A. Nader; one sister: Evelyn Winters and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Em was preceded in death by her husband: Richard W. Wine; one sister: Sadie Corry and three brothers: Philip A. Nader, Albert A. Nader and John A. Nader.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2014 at The Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville where a Christian Vigil will be held at 6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with a Dominican Father as celebrant. Em will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
