Frederick Victor Kruse

AVON: Frederick Victor Kruse 86, of Avon (formerly of Lambertville, MI) passed away Monday January 7, 2013 at The Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky, OH.

He was born June 15, 1926 in Monroe Co., MI. Fred served in the U.S. Navy in WWII, and had a career as a Construction Superintendant in the Toledo area.

He is survived by daughters, Mary Jo Frohlich (Paul) of Brooklyn, MI, Sue Starkey of Toledo, OH; and son, Fred Kruse (Rheta) of Avon; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Jenny, Wendy, DeeDee, Amy, Brad, Brandon, and Chad; and (11) great grandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Mary (nee: Thompson); and a granddaughter, Paula.

Burial will be private at Whiteford Cemetery in Monroe Co. MI where the V.F.W. will provide full military honors.
