Margaret Keyosky

NEW CONCORD: Margaret Keyosky, 96, formally of Pleasant City, passed away peacefully at the Beckett House in New Concord on May 29. 2013, after a long-term illness. Born on July 4, 1916 in Pleasant City, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Mascoviak) Keyosky .

Margaret was devout in her faith and was a long time member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Pleasant City where she dedicated herself to over 50 years of service to the Church and the Ladies Guild. She was a loving Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews and a friend to many. She was a role model to all of us of what it meant to be considerate of others. She always put the needs of everyone else above her own. Her love of life, youthful enthusiasm and dedication to family will long be remembered.

She was a past employee of Servamation in Cambridge, The Photo Shop, and the Johnson Milk Depot in Detroit, Michigan.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her eight siblings and their spouses: Twin brother, Peter (Bertha) Keyosky; Steven (Patricia) Keyosky; Michael (Alma Mae) Keyosky; Joseph Keyosky; Marie (Adam) Kevra; Helen Knaak; John Keyosky; and Anna Keyosky.

Margaret leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, including: Michael and Kristie Keyosky; Carol Keyosky; Connie Fellers and their families as well as countless friends at the Beckett House and lifelong neighbors.
