ROBERT E. SULLIVAN

JUNCTION CITY: Robert E. Sullivan, 78 of Junction City, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born December 6, 1934 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Odell and Marie Sullivan.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Junction City Jackson High School. He worked for the Maxville Stone Company and Chesterhill Stone, serving as General Superintendent for both companies. He was a lifetime parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Bob was active in his community, serving on the Junction City Village Council and the Junction City Village Fire Department, where he served as Fire Chief. Bob was also a member of the New Lexington City School Board and the Hocking College Board of Trustees, retiring as Trustee Emeritus in 2005.

Bob enjoyed photography, woodworking and wood carving.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Sullivan of Junction City, Ohio; children, Jan (Leo) Snider of New Lexington, Ohio, Joe (Maureen) Sullivan of Dublin, Ohio, Tom (Jill) Sullivan of Somerset, Annette (Marty) Skillman of Junction City, Ohio, Cindy (Steve) Chovan of Lewis Center, Ohio; grandchildren, Lindsey (Shawn) Klaameyer, Lauren Snider, Caitlin Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Jamie Sullivan, Kelly Skillman, Ian Chovan and Allison Chovan; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Reagan Klaameyer and Carley Snider.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by brother, William Sullivan and sister, Virginia Paxton.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm with Rosary at 8pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Junction City, Ohio with Father James Csaszar as celebrant.

Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests contributions be made to the Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice and Palliative Care, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
