Ruth Marie (Dudley) Krouskoupf

SOUTH ZANESVILLE: Ruth Marie (Dudley) Krouskoupf, 82 of South Zanesville, died at 7:50 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2014.

She was born on June 3, 1931 in Cumberland, Ohio a daughter of the late Roy and Linnie (Henry) Dudley. She worked for many years at the Dairy Queen on Maple Avenue in Zanesville and retired from Central Ohio Coal as a driller. Ruth was a volunteer baker for the Maysville Latchkey for several years during her retirement and will always be remembered as the family caregiver.

She is survived by two daughters Leslie (Howie) Harlan of Zanesville and Vicky (Ron) Crist of Newark; one son Jay Krouskoupf of South Lake Tahoe, CA; granddaughter Stephanie (Eric) Matto of Columbus, OH, grandsons, Darin (Jennie) Brown of Newark OH, Steve (Jennifer) Dodson of Matthews, NC, Travis Krouskoupf of Zanesville, granddaughters April Krouskoupf of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Kim Krouskoupf of Santa Cruz, CA, grandson Ryan Krouskoupf of South Lake Tahoe, CA.; great-grandchildren, Nate and Ashlyn Matto, Jake and Katie Dodson, Jocelyn Brown, Britney Krouskoupf and Piper Anderson; two sisters-in-law Amanda Cockrill of Morristown, TN and Patty Pierce of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to he parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Krouskoupf who died April 11, 1994; one brother Dean Dudley; one son-in-law Stephen Dodson; one granddaughter Mary Beth Dodson.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Fri.day, April 25, 2014. Rev. Herb Perry officiating and burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery.
