Donald R. Alexander

ZANESVILLE: Donald R. Alexander, 84 of Zanesville, passed away February 25, 2014 at Adams Lane Nursing Center.

He was born February 10, 1930 in Zanesville, son of the late Bernard and Rosa Conant Alexander. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict and a member of the Grace Wesleyan Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Pamela) Lucas of Zanesville, Dennis (Emma) Lucas of Dresden, Roy-Donn (Stacey) Alexander of Newark, Ross (Tia) Gannon of Zanesville; daughter, Tabitha (Terry) Alexander of Zanesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Alexander; brothers, Lewis Alexander, Glen Alexander, Bernard Alexander, Oscar Alexander; sisters, Violet Whitemire, Edith Fisher and Lona Alexander.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 28, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery.
