Richard A. "Dick" Page

ZANESVILLE: Richard A. "Dick" Page, 84 of Zanesville, died 10:25 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family following a long illness. He was born Tuesday, October 25, 1927 in Pittsburgh PA, the son of William H. Page, Sr. and Catherine E.(Ramsey) Page. He married Norma J. (Munyan) Page on Sunday, January 30, 1949 and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

Dick served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was Plant Supervisor of Anchor Glass retiring in 1993 following 37 years of service. He was a proud member of the NRA. Dick enjoyed traveling to Gettysburg and was a Civil War History buff. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dick is survived by five daughters: Shirley (Bob) Neel of Zanesville; Becky Glass of Blanchard, OK; Linda (Ken) McKenzie of Hopewell; Kathy (Bill) Spragg of Zanesville and Melanie (Rick) Foraker of Zanesville; nine grandchildren: Lori (Eric) Lewis of Blacklick, Lisa (Dan) Woerner of Blacklick, Coy Glass of Blanchard, OK, Andy (Kristin) McKenzie of Hopewell, Adam (Tabitha) McKenzie of Heath, Keith (Darcie) McKenzie of Hopewell, Stacy (Craig Fusner) Kaster of Chandlersville, Stephanie (Dennis Wakefield) Lowry of Zanesville and Dustin (Nicole) Foraker of Zanesville; 14 great grandchildren: Abby, Kalib, Tyler, Connor, Cooper, Owen, Haven, Hadley, Karter, Kade, Myles, Kamarin, Klayton and Karson; two brothers: William H. (Janet) Page, Jr. of Zanesville and Thomas J. Page of Zanesville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife: Norma J. (Munyan) Page who died December 28, 1989; one grand daughter: Katie Foraker who died on May 24, 1995; one brother: Robert R. Page and one sister-in-law: Barbara Page.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at The Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, where Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW Post 1058 conducting Full Military Honors.
