HAROLD "FRED" MUSICK

NEW LEXINGTON, OHIO: Harold "Fred" Musick, beloved Husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home.

Born April 2, 1931 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late Thomas and Dorothy Skinner Musick.

Fred was employed by Clay Craft in Shawnee, Ohio, Rockwell International in Heath, Ohio and finished his work at The Peabody Coal Company where he retired.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was in the Air Base Squadron, 15th Marine Aircraft Group in El Toro, California. His squadron was part of "Shot Dog" in the Nevada Desert where they were part of the clean up of the Nevada Nuclear Test Site.

Surviving family members are daughters, Brenda Musick of New Lexington, Cheryl (Don) Rugg of New Lexington, Jackie (Mike) Roush of New Lexington and Julie Hooper of Brunswick, OH.; grandchildren, Brainin Bernard of Pickerington, Sarah (Samuel) Pollock of Hertford, N.C., Kyle Bernard of New Lexington, Jordan Rugg of Columbus, Mitchell White of Columbus, Libby Hooper of Portsmouth, Evan Hooper of Brunswick and Madison Roush of New Lexington; great-grandchildren, Payton Fisher of New Lexington and Izaak Pollock of Hertford, N.C.; brothers and sisters, Arthur (Clarann) Musick of Oakfield and Patty (Don) Glass of Cambridge; sister-in-law, Jeannie Musick of Pataskala.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Beatrice Musick on March 23, 2012; brother, George Musick and sister, Margie Fulk and Granddaughters Allison and Nicole White.

Calling hours will be held from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm on Sunday December 30, 2012 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday December 31, 2012 at the Oakfield Baptist Church, 3530 State Route 13 SE Oakfield, Ohio with Pastor Bob Woodrum officiating.

Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice.
