Lennie Wilson

NEW LEXINGTON: Lennie Wilson, 77, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 2:34pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home.

Lennie was born January 22, 1936 in Corning, Ohio to the late Ed and Nellie Musick Wilson.

Lennie was a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Company, a lifetime member of the B.P.O.E #509 of New Lexington; a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1959-1961.

He was an avid rabbit hunter. Enjoyed many friendships and was quite the prankster. He loved playing the mandolin.

Lennie was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he never missed his grandchildren's ballgames.

Survived by son, Jody (Karen) Wilson; daughters, Kim Beach and Vicky Dalrymple; grandchildren, Nakia (Nate) Bailor, Cody Wilson, Casey Beach and Craig Beach, Heidi and Jarod; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jeanette Page Wilson on December 2, 2011; by sisters, Anise, Marie, Viola and brother, Walter.

Calling hours will be held from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm with Elks services at 8pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home 304 Mill Street New Lexington Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Friday, March 1, 2013 at the funeral home with Reverend Ernie Eing officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion of New Lexington, OH.
