David Wayne Tigner

NEW LEXINGTON: David Wayne Tigner, 64, of New Lexington, Ohio died Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

Born June 21, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Douglas Omen and Mary Louise Houseman Tigner.

Dave was a United States Army Veteran during Vietnam; member of the V.F.W., American Legion, Eagles #2070 of New Lexington and B.P.O. E. #509 of New Lexington, where he also served as janitor.

Survived by his son, David Wagner of Nashport; 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson; 3 brothers, Gerald (Roberta) Tigner of Dayton, Dale (Sandie) Tigner of Stockport and Michael (Marcia) Tigner of Chesterhill; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his dog, Tiny.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Kelly.

Calling hours will be held from 5pm-8pm with Eagles services at 7:30pm and Elks services at 7:45pm on Thursday, September 12, 2013 and from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday at the Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Hanover officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
