Glenford Ralph Bash

ZANESVILLE: Glenford Ralph Bash, 77, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away at 1:30 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at his residence.

He was born July 5, 1936 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Ralph Augustus Bash and Dorothy LaGrange Bash.

He was formerly employed by Grief Brothers and was a member of the Zanesville Eagles Aerie Lodge #302.

He is survived by his wife, Nora Cottrell Bash whom he married in 1955; daughters, Brenda Sue (Scott Huston) Bash and Patricia Yvonne (Bob Long) Bash; sons, Glen Michael (Delberta Riffle) Bash, and Clint Augustus (Agnes Hicks) Bash; half-sisters, Virginia Mae Hart, Katherine (Dick) Kirkman and Florence Frolich; grandchildren, Mark (Melissa Hebb) Samson Jr. Todd (Christy) Pollock, Joshua (Misti) Houston, Rylan (Brooke) Burrie, Sarah Burrie, Jeremy (Mary) Varhola, Tristin Bash, Jasmine (Marcus) Baker, Kelsi Trout ,Devin and Tray Bash; great-grandchildren, Parker, Tasha, Kaleigh, Tia, Trinity, Todd Jr., Klarissa, Cabella (Twin), Owen, Payton, Alyvia, Mackinzy, Savannah, Anissa, Corbin, Bronson, Danielle, Conlee(CJ), and Brantley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a great grandson, Caleb Russell Pollock (Twin).

Friends may call from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Thursday, January 9, 2014 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Interment will be at Stovertown Cemetery.
