Wetzel Taylor, Jr.
ZANESVILLE: Wetzel Taylor, Jr., age 58, of Zanesville, OH formerly of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014 with his family by his side.
He was born Saturday, August 20, 1955 in Columbus the son of Rev. Wetzel Taylor, Sr. and Gracie (Sharrod) Taylor. He was married on Saturday, August 22, 1987 to Dorothy (Dalton) Taylor who survives.
He was a Baptist by faith and served in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife; four children; eight grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eva and William Dalton and his brother, Charles Scott.
Friends may call form 11-1 PM on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home 935 Forest Ave., Zanesville. A Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will conclude in the Woodlawn Cemetery Veterans Gardens in Zanesville with VFW Post 1058 and the U.S. Marine Corps conducting Full Military Honors.
