It is during this time of year that I hold the fondest memories of time with you, Grandpa. My whole life we looked forward to Christmas Eve's with you and wished that just once, you would dress up like Santa. Being in your home on Thanksgiving was overwhelming for all of us without you there this year. You weren't there to eat half the turkey before dinner, or help us figure out where the dishes go once we finished them. I really hope that you were there in spirit with us and that I will feel your presence this Christmas Eve. I miss you everyday and I love you.

Never will forget Grandpa's great cooking, and immaculate garden. He sure did help take care of my Mom suring some of her rough times. He set an example for men. Take care, Grandpa - you are missed.

Papa Jack,

Oh, the crinkly eyes, twinkling like Santa's... I have an amazing picture of you holding your greatgranddaughter Veronica as a baby. The memories of turkey in the oven downstairs, while you sat in the freezing garage on holidays, waiting to greet us all; us grumbling when it was time to help pick the green beans in the garden, though we loved to eat those beans!; Your chuckle and how you and my dad used to laugh together - now you do again; Sitting on the glider bench on the back porch, looking out at your beautiful roses and bountiful gardens, such wonderful memories of my childhood were spent at your home with you and Grandma. I shall miss you, sweet man, gentle Papa Jack. And I love you, Grandma, I'd have been there if I had known before Monday, June 6. Please call me if you need anything.

I express my sincerest condolences to the Caley family for your loss. I hold fond memories of “Grandpa” Jack. He was a generous man who shared with others his garden bounty, his love of food, and his talent for fixing cars. I remember the shuffle of his feet as he cooked in the kitchen and the smell of his pipe after a nice meal. He possessed an amazing spirit for life enjoying the little things with his friends and family. I am truly blessed for having known him as my grandpa.

Grandpa, Altho, I may be an 'ex' in law, I still love you. I will always remember the good times, and your 'blonde' hair. Rest in peace, I know you and Chris and John already have a good fishing spot, save some room for me. Grandpa, give Chris and John hugs and kisses from me(I miss you Bubbi), till we all meet again, Keep 'smilin' Grandpa, Love, Theresa
