Irene Anne Moore

STOW -- Irene Anne Moore, 85, died July 7, 2008.

Irene Anne Moore shared her final moments lovingly at Ridgewood Hospice Center with family. A lifelong Akron area resident, she has been a part of the Stow-Glen community for the last five years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, gardening, and sitting on her porch with her many special pets.

She was employed as a bookkeeper with the Dairy Council, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, H & C Supply Company, and Loos and Sexauer Advertising firm.

Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Don in 1994; and sisters, Mary Biondo and Marge Watts, she is survived by daughters, Diane (George) Crommes of Washington, Kathy (Kevin) Brett of Florida and Glenna (Thomas) Biggins of Stow; grandchildren, Joe (Carlanna) and David (Tonya) Crommes, Kerry and Kory Brett, Kristen (John) Psathas, Kelly (Jared) Becker, and Michael (Jody), Mark (Carrie) and Diane Biggins; great-grandchildren, Zack, Quinn, Wyatt, Jeremy, Collin, Landon, Delaney, Will and Baby Psathas; sisters-in-law, Eva Jean Greenlun and Cora Lee Moore and many nieces and nephews.

Her daughters wish to thank all of the "Angels" from Stow-Glen and Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service for their love and support.

Pastor Kim Barnett will conduct services Friday, July 11, 2008 at 12 noon at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 A.M. until service time. Inurnment Rose Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333. Mrs. Moore's tribute video will be available at www.redmonfuneralhome.com.
