Dear Kris and Vince, I know tomorrow will be happy and sad for you both since your father is no longer around. But, I admire your entire family for his influence on each of you and how proud he must be to see his children and grandchildren, their successes and happiness. That's a real tribute to both your parents. Most sincerely, Karen

Our family sends our deepest sympathy to Aunt Betty, cousins and their families on Uncle Vince's death. Although he was my uncle, he was in so many ways my Great Uncle! I recall as a child looking up at him--how tall he was! And as I grew up, he remained tall, and I came to look up to him as well! But he was not just great in stature. Uncle Vince had the wonderful capacity to make me feel important and comfortable around him, talking with me about my favorite subject. It was not until I reached adulthood and went into banking that I learned of his accomplishments in the business world and later in the banking world. I think my awareness of his successes made me appreciate him even more. In his wonderful way, he was quite a teacher: I recall watching him as he interacted with people, particularly our family, and marveled at how he always was listening to what you were saying, devoting his full attention to you! As the years have rolled by, I have come to admire his qualities even more, and I will remember him with warm thoughts of his kindness and attention to me as a child and later to my entire family. Indeed, he was my Great Uncle Vince!

Ted, Beth, Ann and Cathy-
Only when you have children of your own, do you fully realize what a special person...a grandpa is ! How lucky was your grandpa, to have 10 great grandchildren !
He will always be on your minds, and forever in your hearts.
