Dear Norma,

I just found out about the passing of your wonderful husband Randy. I was shocked. Many years ago I sang a song with you (What a Friend We have in Jesus) up at the The Veterans Home in Yountville, CA. I still have the pic of us singing together. My heart goes out to you and your family. May God bless you with love and peace.

Love and prayers, Patricia Moore

Mrs. Zimmer, I am so sorry to hear of your husband's death. I know this is a sad time for you. My heart aches for your loss. Through the years, I've tried to get in touch with you. You painted a beautiful picture of my adopted daughter for the PTL girls' home and I was able to acquire it during the restructuring of that property. I always wanted to thank you personally for it. While this is not the forum to do so, I just wanted you to know that you have been in my thoughts through the years and now, you are in my prayers. Much love, Rhonda

May God Be With You, and the boys, Norma. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband.

I've always wanted to tell you how much your book, "Norma", meant to me. My husband and I also, still watch the Welk Show, every Saturday night, on Iowa Public Television. Thank you, and God Bless!

To The Zimmer Family:

I was just informed today of your loss. My deepest sympathy to all of you on Randy's passing. Although we've never met, I feel as though we all know Randy from his appearances on the Welk Show with Norma and sons Ron and Mark.

Dear Norma, I was saddened to read of Randy's death because, having been there myself with the death of two wives, I have experienced the loss of one's life partner!

However, Gloriah and I are joyous over the fact that Randy is now with Jesus and will be waiting along with my previous wife, Geri, to greet you when you graduate and join them!!!

We love you! We miss seeing you! You are in our prayers and hearts!

Dear Norma and the entire Zimmer family,

Although we have never met in person, it seems like you are all my family and I share in your great loss today.

Even though we know the parting is hard, we know it is temporary and we will all reunite when we move to Heaven, too.

Until then, please know that my love and prayers are sent to you with the hopes that you will be greatly comforted in that knowledge.

Peace and blessings to all of you.

Love,

Deon Masker
