Ian, no doubt your life has touched countless people, and prayers for you were spoken far and wide. Many people were brought together on your behalf. I said to your father Kevin at the hospital that one day you would open your eyes again. What I did not know then is that it would be Jesus who you would first see. He has healed you completely, no more pain, but peace now.

Your Uncle Scott and the gang are still taking you 4-wheeling, that is a promise, we will just have to do it on Streets of Gold. Until we meet again Ian, so long.

God bless you Kevin and Cindy, you can be proud of your son, and the memories you had together will never be lost.

When my Grandfather passed, the comforting words of this familiar Hymn came to mind:

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

When sorrows like sea billows roll;

Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,

It is well, with my soul,

It is well, it is well, with my soul.

There is a great story of the man, Horatio Spafford who wrote this Hymn after losing his 4 children at sea. What faith he had even after this great sorrow.

sometimes we cannot understand

and so the spirit grieves,

but God will lead with loveing hand

the one he takes or leaves,

so to the hills our eyes we lift

for weather here or there,

they are with us still.we cannot

drift beyond his love and care.

as one of Ians friend wrote he is safely tucked inside of our hearts forever! Grandson you will be missed so very much!love grandma Julie

We are all deeply saddened by the passing of Ian. We have many memories that will comfort us in the days ahead. One of my favorites is when Ian was in kindergarten. I asked him how he liked school, and he said it was "ok", but he had not learned how to whistle yet. Ian's sence of humor was a blessing to all of us.

Much love & prayers~

I am beyond words that Ian has passed away, but take some comfort in knowing that he is with his Mom, although I know she would not have wished his life to have been cut so short. We have known Ian since he was six years old. He was always a solid support to his brother Evan and so strong and loving when his Mom passed away in '98. Ian is a special soul whose goodness will be remembered always, along with his mom. Two very special souls are now looking down on us from Heaven and with that I take solice. Just as Amy's huge love of life has stayed with me, I know Ian's generosity of spirit, will as well. We will remember you well, always.

I was a friend of Amy's from Horizon Middle School. I am truly sad for your lost. It is a blessing to know that Ian and Amy are together again knowing how much they loved each other.
