Born in Boston, MA, Nancy relocated to Florida with her family. After graduating from Deland High School, she pursued a career in Professional Wrestling Entertainment. She enjoyed tremendous success and traveled all over the world. After meeting and falling in love with Christopher Benoit she retired to become a dutiful, loving, supportive wife and mother. She is survived by her father, Paul A. Toffoloni, mother, Maureen R. Toffoloni; sister, Sandra M. Toffoloni. She will be severely missed by her family, friends and colleagues, but her love and sprit will live on through them for eternity.
Daniel was born and raised in the Peachtree City, GA area. He was an active, popular student who loved his doggies, his neighbors and riding their horses. He was smart, affectionate and kind hearted. He adored his mother and worshipped his father. Daniel is survived by his maternal grandparents, Paul A. and Maureen R. Toffoloni; his aunt, Sandra M. Toffoloni; along with his paternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret Benoit; and his step siblings, David and Megan Benoit.
Memorial services for Nancy and Daniel Benoit will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 1PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 201 University Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32118. In lieu of gifts and condolences, the family has started a foundation in Nancy and Daniel's memory. Donations to the Nancy and Daniel Benoit Foundation for Battered Women and Abused Children may be made at this time c/o Decker, Hallman, Barber and Briggs, 260 Peachtree St. Suite 1700, Atlanta, GA 30303. You two are beauteous souls that still should be here today. Nancy, your warmth, your love, your inner radiance, was utterly incomparable. Compassion and kindness emanated from your every pore and though I never met you, that smile belies such a person. Daniel, everyone all those years ago said what a sweet boy you were. To the family of Nancy and Daniel I would like to say that I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my sister in 2004 and know the pain you are going through. I didn't know Nancy personally but I did watch her on TV in WCW wrestling. I know that there is a difference between the person you see on TV and the person of reality but she was so beautiful and talented in what she did.
