Leroy Marquiss Obituary
LeRoy was born May 17, 1932 in Perry, Mich. to the late Lester and Maggie (Sperry) Marquiss. He was united in marriage to the former Mary A. Miller December 13, 1969. LeRoy owned and operated Marquiss Water Conditioning for 58 years. Surviving besides Mary, his loving wife of 38 years, are 10 children.
The funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home East (955 Pine Rd., Essexville, www.stapishcederberg.com). Rev. James Wickstrom will officiate with burial to follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Tuesday from noon until the time of service.

Dear Mary,
I was so sorry to here of LeRoys Passing. He was a good friend of many people. Even Though i didn't agree of his political feelings I still liked this man. He will be missed by many. I spend most of my time in Florida now, but if I get back to Bay City, I will look you up. Please except my sincere sympathies. I really do remember your wedding, it was a great pleasure at the time.
