Norman Davis Obituary

Norman "Catfish" K. Davis, 76, of Beaverton, died Sept. 4, 2008, at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home after a short illness.

Born Sept. 14, 1931, in Flint, to Kenneth and Rose (Hooper) Davis, Norman owned and operated Norm's Bump & Paint in Gladwin.

Norman lived in Gladwin most of his life and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post 7303.

He is survived by his brothers, Stanley W. and Judy Davis of Beaverton and Donald Davis of Beaverton; a sister, Beulah Hover of Beaverton; and seven nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beatrice.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Beaverton Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.

Memorials made be made to the donor's choice of charity.
