Mrs. Manwell and family
My sincere condolences to all of you. I was fortunate to swim for Coach Manwell during his first years at BCC. Those trips he arranged for his swimmers to go to Ft. Lauderdale and Evansville, IN to swim and have fun remain clear in my memory even after 40+ years.

Zenith ~ so sorry to hear of Art's passing. I remember him helping you in your classes when I took Yoga (about 5-6 yrs. ago), and how helpful and nice he always was and with a great sense of humor. Again, so sorry for your loss.

You were such an inspiration to all of us Mr. Manwell. You were the one who took many hours to teach me how to swim properly and join the swim team which lead to many open doors later in life. That Western High Swim team members are still life-long friends and you were such a wonderful coach and father figure. We'll miss you. WSKA Class of 1989
