My deepest condolence to the family. Cowboy Fred was a good man. His face was the first I'd look for when I made my visits to the trading post. He will be missed.

Barb Austin and Fred's children - I'm sorry I cannot join you to be able to celebrate Fred's life with you and cry at his passing, however, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Fred was such a good friend to my family, especially Dave, and he will be sorely missed. He and I played together as well as we worked together - am sure he will be watching over us from above. From ice fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards, hunting and just sharing a laugh, Fred always had a smile on his face. He truly enjoyed life to its fullest. With love and big hugs to all of you.....Marge

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of "good ol' Fred Bears" family and friends during this time! Fred, you were a wonderful man and you will be missed by all. Now that you are shining down from us all from up above, we will be sure to think of you when that eight point stands in the bright of the snow when the sun hits it, "heres one for you Fred!"
