Gavin Vought Obituary

Gavin Charles Vought, 56, of Midland, was taken from us suddenly on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.

Gavin was born on April 22, 1952 to the late Frazier and Deloris (Recker) Vought in Detroit, Mich., and in 2000 he married his sweetheart Penny Joseph.

Gavin's favorite pastime was bowling. He also loved hunting and eating.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Scott, Leslie (James) Schneider, Christopher (Kelly) Joseph, Jason Joseph, Aaron (Valerie) Joseph; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Glenn, Gary (Lisa), Gordon and sister, Sandy Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Smith.

Gavin's family will be receiving friends at Smith-Miner Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. for a viewing and memorial service.
