Juanita and family:

I was saddened to learn that John passed away recently.

I have many fond memories of John from his service with the Midland Southside Lions Club.

He was a wonderful leader for young people. I still have a scrapbook clipping of a photo showing John, "Happy" Bond, Leo Merriman, and the others that organized the Midland Leo Club back in 1972.

It was a pleasure to know John and we are keeping you and the family in our thoughts and prayers.

PS: My parents were C. E. and Margie McCain, also long-time members of the Midland Southside Lions and Dandy Lions.
