Family-Placed Funeral Notice
JOSEPHINE S. WILSON “Miss Jo” Mrs. Wilson, age 87, of Lake Park, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted family on Monday morning, January 9, 2006. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on March 20, 1918, daughter of the late Hugh Sloan and Mary Gertrude Brown Sloan, and resided in Lake Park for the past 43 years. Mrs. Wilson was a faithful communicant of Saint Clare Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Stephen W. Wilson who died in 1976, and a son, Stephen W. Wilson, Jr. who died in 2004. She was also predeceased by two sisters: Eleanor Donaghue and Gertrude Patterson. Mrs. Wilson leaves to cherish her memory four devoted children: Joseph H. Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James W. Wilson of Lake Park, Florida, Gerald F. Wilson of Vonore, Tennessee and Elaine M. Wilson of Rochester, New York; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her kindness and friendship will also be missed by her extended family who knew her as "Miss Jo". The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 PM, Friday, January 13, 2006 at Howard-Price Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach where a Scripture Service will be at 4 PM, Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Clare Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach on Saturday, January 14 at 10 AM with Reverend Father William D. O'Shea, Pastor, as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach. Those planning an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider contributions in memory of Mrs. Wilson to either National Kidney Foundation of Florida, Inc., 1040 Woodcock Road, Suite #119, Orlando, FL 32803 or to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

Elaine & Family,
All the words spoken can't replace your loss. Your family has a hole in it and the world is a bit lonlier tonight. All you can do now is honor her memory and remember the good times. But remembering isn't the only thing either because you are her legacy. You and your children are proof that her life wasn't a waste. Your family gives real meaning to the life she led.
Though your pain will decrease in time, there will still be a hole, but the void you feel can still be filled with love and happy memories. Live on in her name. Lead good honest and fruitful lives and you will add lustere to her memory.
