Mr. Barnes was a true friend and we are very appreciative for his being a part of our lives. We loved to sit and just listen to all of his stories and knowledge about Pace. He was an unbelievable Gators fan! Most people who knew him probably had no idea of the far reaches of his generous nature. He will be truly missed by many. And just for you John.....Go Gators!

Mr. Barnes was a true patriot and dedicated to his family and community. He loved to help folks along on their life journey. He will be missed. But, his memory will forever be alive in Santa Rosa County

J.T. - was an inspiration. I sorely regret being in NJ these last years and not being able to visit. His memory remains with many of us and you will not be forgotten. I do recall him telling me that he was THE FIRST graduate of Chumuckla High School - the first to receive a diploma there because his name was at the start of the alphabet. J.T. was the best.
