John was a person whom I will truly remember. He had a great personality and was a kind, caring individual. I first met John when I was learning Irish dancing at Emmetts. He never got frustrated when trying to teach me to dance and I kept stepping on his toes. John touched my life as well as many others and he will be truly missed.

We remember you John (Sluggo) from years ago and will always remember your smile and being your friend and next door neighbor from many years ago. May you always rest in peace.

Uncle John has always been one of my most thoughtful and generous relatives, somehow able to get a birthday card to arrive precisely on one's birthday. He also loved to talk and share stories to any captive audience. He cared a lot about family and I always got a sense he was proud of each of us. Birthdays, holidays, and other family gatherings will be a little emptier without him.
