Peggy Holland Obituary


Peggy S. Holland VIRGINIA BEACH - Peggy S. Holland passed away Aug. 6, 2008. Peggy was born Feb. 22, 1923. She was past vice president of the Virginia Beach Garden Club and for several years served as chairman of the Altar Guild of Galilee Church. She was predeceased by her loving husband, J. Peter Holland III. Peggy is survived by her son, J. Peter Holland IV and his wife Anne and three stepgranddaughters; her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Holland Parnell and her husband Jimmy; three grandchildren, Quincy, Ian and Sarah; and her sister, Mrs. Nancy S. Kimball. Peggy's family would like to thank the nurses and all the employees of the Seaside Health Center at Atlantic Shores especially Liz Bergos for the wonderful treatment and devoted care for her for the past several years. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Galilee Church. Donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
