I will always remember Daddy swinging on the back porch at the old house on Lilac and singing hymns. Those times were always very special. He was a very special man that everyone in the area knew. I know he is in heaven with the rest of his family and that will keep that smile of his on his face forever. I’m going to miss him more than words could ever say.

I have many wonderful memories of grandaddy and grandmother Bryant..like expeditions to sunday school and christmas visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. When I was young, living on Laurel Avenue, even though we weren't supposed to, we would play in the ditch next to the Hair's. One of the fondest and vivid memories of my childhood was playing down there and then going (with all my friends) to grandaddy and grandmothers house for RC cola and cookies. They always welcomed me and my friends with open arms. As we sat and ate our cookies and drank our cola, grandaddy would talk of his childhood and the bible, while swinging the porch swing with vigor. As we left to resume catching tadpoles in the "creek", grandmother would give me a big hug and grandaddy would pat my back so hard, but I loved it. As I grew older, grandaddy would give me clippings from the readers digest or christian magazine. I always read them but didnt realize until I started my own family just what precious advice he was giving me. Not only did he love us as any grandparent would, but he genuinely cared about cultivating our character and spirit. Thank you grandaddy for teaching and showing me by example what is means to be an honorable, spirtual, courageous person. Love you grandaddy.

Although Granddaddy didn't make it to 100 years old, he lived a very fulfilling life. I am so grateful for what he and Grandmother taught us about family and about Christian living. I am so proud to have called him my Granddaddy, and am so lucky that my children got to know their Great-Grandfather. We will miss him terribly.

I loved my grandfather very much, I am truly sad that he will no longer be here with us, however I am glad he is now in heaven with grandmother, Uncle Wyville and Larry. I will miss seeing him every year when I come home but will never forget all that he meant to me over the years.

On the day of Dad's funeral his great grandson placed a ring box with his lucky penny and lucky dime in the casket. He was loved and he loved.
Another of his great grand children told me they were going to miss "Big Granddaddy long legs".

While doing some paint work for Billy about a dozen years ago, I met his Dad Archie and we struck up a friendly conversation. A short while later, I realized I forgot my knife. Archie promptly went over to his car and got me a fancy box knife. After I used it, I went to hand it back to him and he told me to keep it.
God just received a fine gentleman.

Granddaddy was an extraordinary man! He lived a good, long life. He loved Jesus and showed us how good Jesus is. He is in a better place now watching over us. Thank you for all your wisdom and guidance! I will miss you and will always love and cherish you! I love you!

The memories of my Grandfather are priceless. He would swing us in his yard swing, visit all his children on Sunday's, said we looked snazzy with a click. Always reminded us that the Family was the most important thing in life. The one thing I will always treasure, He would present his grand children with a Bible on our Wedding Day. I'm going to miss you. Thank you for showing us Jesus daily.

Grandaddy was awesome. I love him so much. It has always been good visiting with him and listening to him talk and hearing his many stories. I will miss him so much. His body eventually could not keep up with his sharp mind. I love you Grandaddy!!!
